The Brightside Group was created to inspire others to see the bright side of dark situations.

The company grew out of founder Gabrielle Yetter’s personal experiences with loss and her unwavering commitment to keeping a positive attitude. After losing her sister and infant nephew in a car accident, she made a resolution to “eat more chocolate and watch more sunsets” – in other words, to enjoy the good things in life and not take anything for granted.

Having worked most of her life in media and corporate occupations, Gabrielle launched The Brightside Group in 2009 and created The Screaming Pillow from a concept which was born many years ago.

The focus of The Brightside Group is to provide products which make people feel good. The Screaming Pillow is the first item to be produced by the company and is designed as a novelty gift with a therapeutic benefit.

So, who are we?

The Brightside Group is fortunate to have a team of consultants who work with us regularly – from published writers to textile designers to PR professionals. Among the team who made this happen are:

Manufacturing Consultant – Suzie Weldon

With a strong background in design, Suzie has a wealth of knowledge about textiles, design and production. She is owner of Verve Design, a home-staging company in Salem, MA and is a former production manager and designer for a private label line of women’s clothing.

 

 

PR/Marketing Team – Paula Gaull, Donna Rice and Francie King

All three women on this team are PR and marketing dynamos. Paula has been in the PR field for many years and now owns a home design company, Donna is an advertising executive at the Boston Globe and Francie worked in a variety of marketing positions for museums and culinary organizations as well as being a talented and published writer.

PR/Writing Consultant – Susan Spencer

Susan has owned her own PR agency and provided PR and marketing communications to a variety of clients, from consumer to technology to insurance. She is now living in Turkey teaching English.
